Wise Guy

I call this fellow “Wise Guy” and I think the name really suits him! Some interesting facts about owls: They can swivel their heads 270 degrees; they can pivot their toes 180 degrees; not all owls hoot! That’s a hoot!! This mixed media piece is comprised of layers of collage and acrylic paint that continue to build upon one another. It’s done on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides. He’s a really striking fellow — and quite wise!
