Peaceful Purr

This mixed media piece entitled “Peaceful Purr” took a bit of time to complete. The vase is composed of papers that I hand painted and then cut up into little pieces to fit the pattern of the vase that I created. The flowers, background and sleeping pussycat are painted with acrylic paint on a 6″ x 16″ gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides. There’s something about a sleeping pussycat that is so tranquil and feels so good.
