Reflections

There is a lyric in the song “Reflection” by Christina Aguilera that I love … it goes: “Who is that girl I see staring straight back at me? When will my reflection show who I am inside?” This painting is made up of layers of acrylic paint that demonstrate different reflections of shapes and colors; just like our personalities these layers are complex. It’s done on a gallery canvas with painted sides.
