Transcendence

The word “transcendence” is often used to describe a spiritual or religious state, or a condition of moving beyond physical needs and realities. In my head I wanted to create such a place. This piece is highly textured and was created with layers of acrylic paint, glass beads, and stucco. It’s painted on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides.
